Phonics Program
Every language has their own alphabets and these alphabets have their own sounds. We can read the words only if we know their sounds. This is why Phonics is important as it teaches children how to read letters as per their respective sounds that helps them to be a better reader as they can read unfamiliar words by themselves. Children learn the sounds that each letter makes, and how a change in the order of letters changes a word's meaning. English Language has 44 sounds and many blends of two or more consonants. To make the child understand this, we begin with the easier sounds and gradually they learn the difficult ones. If a child develops a letter-sound connection in the early ages of development, it stays with him/her forever.
